Being Creative Is Good But Marketing Is Better

Can you remember when you first created your online business?

Remember how excited you were? You couldn’t wait to tell everyone about your business, and how it will help solve a specific problem. That you are the expert in whatever it is you do.

You can probably remember going to the local printer or shopping online for your very first business card. “How exciting!”

You probably even designed your own cards, flyers, and promotion material.

And you sat for hours, sometimes days, before you had came to a decision on the final look.

What is the cost of perfection?

Some products that any person would physically consume, of course, would have to be perfect; for obvious reasons. As business owners, we are creators.

Because we are people who think outside the box; we are always full of ideas to make life better for those who use our products, or services.

That’s how we’re wired, and there is nothing wrong with that.

However, if creativity is overshadowing your marketing; the fact is, that you already have a business.

Even if you’re just starting a business, a business is a business. Businesses lose money as well as make money.

But a successful business is a business that brings in consistent revenue. That is what we all want.

Take about 10 – 15 minutes to think about what you’re going to do in your business today.
