There are 3 very important things that every online business should know…
…and you must be good at in order to have a successful business.
It’s been five years now since my Mentor, Adam Taha told me that.
This is what he said…
You have to be good at:
This is difficult for a lot of business owners to absorb because business owners are creative as you are. No matter what business you’re in, there is an element of creativity that we all possess.
However, the problem we face as business owners is that we never have enough time. We are too busy, we get distracted, and life happens.
Furthermore, while everything is going on around us, we reach a point where we must become more organized, consistent, and intentional with our efforts for our businesses.
At the time, all of that didn’t make sense to me. Or should I say ” It scared me.” Just as it may be scaring you.
Because you’re good at what you do, and the thought of anything removing you from your comfort zone can be scary.
Let’s look at how each one of these plays a part in your business. From how I see it.
- Copywriting – The art of persuading the reader to your point of view.
- Marketing – The art of targeting emotions (desire, love, safety, fitting in).
- Sales – The art of persuading someone that your product or service will make their dreams and desires come true if they buy it.
If you study these simple descriptions. You will see that each one depends on each other.
Imagine a triangle. if one side of the triangle is gone, then it is no longer a triangle. I know it’s obvious, but picturing it in your mind it makes it more real.
The secret to freeing your time, so you can focus on these three very important elements to your business…
Is to outsource the stuff that is slowing the boat down.
When I started my business, I ran solo for a long time. I was literally building websites from scratch, and this was before all of these website builders came around…
Even before WordPress.
But my business was not growing. Now, I barely make any changes on my own website. I have a team that helps me with that, and It’s such a relief as well. Because now I can focus on Sales, Marketing and improving my copywriting.
That’s enough about me though, I want to hear more from you.
Which one of these 3 things are you struggling with?
